We're thrilled to introduce the Education Workforce Center (EWC) by City Colleges of Chicago, led by Harry S. Truman College, which will include on-site, virtual, and off-site resources for education professionals. The center is opening in 2025 and will be a game-changer for current and future early childhood professionals in the city.

About the Education Workforce Center
A game-changer for current and future early childhood professionals in Chicago
The EWC, headquartered at Harry S Truman College, City Colleges’ Center of Excellence in Education, will offer support for early childhood professionals on campus and at the satellite campus, Arturo Velasquez Institute, as well as virtual resources and off-site options.

The new job board addresses workforce challenges and insights uncovered by from hundreds of survey responses and hours of conversations with ECE employment experts from the Mayor’s office, local universities, and centralizing ECE opportunities, offering user-friendly tools, and creating clearer career pathways while informing the field through data analytics.
The EWC supports both the human and professional needs of those working with children (prenatal to pre-K) and families across Chicago.
